Revamp of Time Page

Today, we're releasing a major update to our time page in Forecast. The new improved design should deliver a more intuitive user experience. Making it significantly easier to find the exact card you want to report time on, and giving you a better perspective on your time entries through the new week and month views.

The new project selector is sorted into planning- and running projects to help you find the project you're looking for. Likewise, the card selector is sorted into to-do and in progress. Making it easier to register time - even if you have dozens or hundreds of projects. Thus, the process is more or less the same, but it just looks better. I guess looks do matter.

Cards you're assigned to, and which are in progress, will now also show up directly in your timesheet by default. This means that you don't have to use the selector as often. It will just be there waiting for you to enter the number of hours.

Registering time on assigned cards is now quicker

Additionally, now you can add a note to each of your time entries. This will show up along with the date in the week view, and be visible to users with permission levels of 'manager' or above.

Last but not least, we're adding a new highly requested feature, namely the new month view. A calendar view of your time.

The month view shows reported time entries for the selected person, which is by default yourself. At the left of the calendar, you see a column with the week numbers, and the total of registered hours for each week. Here, you'll also see an alert icon to remind you of any missing time entries.

Viewing another person is possible for managers and above in the top left corner.

That was all for this time. If you have any questions about the new time page, or anything else - we're always ready for a chat. Just click the beautiful button in the lower right-hand corner.
